THE AIM OF THIS PROJECT WAS TO ENSURE THAT THE CITY DEVELOPS A NEW IDENTITY BY MEANS OF A STRUCTURE, WHICH FUNCTIONS AS THE EXHIBITION COMPONENT AS A WHOLE WITH ITS ATTITUDE, WITHOUT MAKING CONCESSION TO THE HISTORICAL HERITAGE THAT THE MUSEUM WILL CONTAIN WITHIN ITSELF, ITS ARCHITECTURAL TECHNIQUE, MATERIAL AND STYLE, AND CITY'S BONDS WITH PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE, MAKING USE OF ALL THE POSSIBILITIES OF CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. THE MUSEUM'S DYNAMIC STRUCTURE, WHICH FORMS THE ESSENTIAL ELEMENT OF ITS CONCEPT, WAS DESIGNED WITH THE INSPIRATION OF THE SHAPE OF THE 'TENNURE', (THE CLOTH WORN BY WHIRLING DERVISHES DURING MEVLEVI CEREMONIES) WHICH IS ONE OF THE IMPORTANT SYMBOLIC ELEMENTS OF SEMA CEREMONIES, DURING ITS MOVEMENT. FOLDS, WHICH FORM DURING THE WHIRLING MOVEMENT, CONSTITUTE NEW SPATIAL FICTIONS, LIKE THE MEANINGS THAT GLIDE THROUGH THE SKIRTS OF TENURE. INDOOR AREA, WHICH IS ENRICHED WITH RAMPS ALONG WITH THIS SHELL, NOT ONLY PROVIDES AN UNINTERRUPTED TOUR ROUTE FOR THE USER BUT ALSO PROVIDES USE OF ACCESS TO HANDICAPPED PEOPLE. CORES, WHICH SUPPORT THESE RAMPS, PROVIDE A FASTER AND EASIER ACCESS INSIDE THE INTERIOR AREA.
